Ilhan Omar Claims 9/11 is “Some People Did Something”, Is This Anti-American?

I don’t care what kind of person you are, if you’re an America citizen, this should be something to take offense about. Now I don’t encourage the act of taking offense that often, as a matter of fact I try to base my political beliefs on facts. But, downplaying almost 3,000 deaths is truly monstrous.

On March 23rd last month, Minnesota representative Ilhan Omar stated during a speech at a Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) that the 9/11 terrorist attacks were just “some people did something.” Now remember only to take offense if you want to, but right now I am going to do some critical exposing.

First of all, we have to give Omar the credit. She is not as bad as her friends Alexandria Occasional Cortex and Rashida Tlaib, but unfortunately within the last couple of months she has said a couple things that even stir up mutiny in dismissive citizens like myself. Before her anti-American statement about 9/11, there was her anti-Semitic comments about Jews. I won’t go into full detail on that one, but for the record this is the second time she has said something that is outrageously offensive.

9/11 was one of the largest killings on American soil, two-thousand nine hundred seventy-seven people either died on impact, burned to a crisp, or fell from the skyline that horrific day and a Muslim socialist get’s to label it as “some people did something?” When 9/11 happened in 2001 everyone was shocked, black, white, purple, and brown. People were shocked and scared, but most of all to this day the majority of us Americans still remember those who were innocently taken that date.

What Rep. Omar said was tremendously disrespectful, what she said was not just your everyday sarcastic statement, this was “I came from Somalia and I could care less about 9/11!” Any rational American citizen that knows what happened during the 9/11 radical terrorist attacks should understand that what Ilhan Omar said was truly the face of socialism.

An article by Ryan Cooper on “TheWeek” is titled “Why conservative attacks on an out-of-context Ilhan Omar quote are dangerous”, which is pretty much the left trying to justify the statements of their own.

I just want to note that last last weeks “racist chocolate Easter bunny story” made more headlines than Omar’s comment, so I want to give a big round of applause to the news organizations that reported Omar’s fault. People like her should never be part of our legislative branch, nor should they be part of any branch in United States government.
