“TYT” Spends Thirteen Minutes Ranting Their Personal Dislike Towards Ben Shapiro, Instead Of Talking About Rapinoe

Once again, our outrageously misleading kindergarteners over at TYT (The Young Turks) are nonchalantly indoctrinating you to believe things that don’t comply with reality. Yesterday they posted a video on their YouTube channel titled, “Ben Shapiro Has Hissy Fit Over Megan Rapinoe.” Well, here it is.

Click the video above to view Ana Kasparian, Felonious Monk, and Brooke Thomas ramble incoherently about how much they dislike Ben Shapiro.

The “Megan Rapinoe” Story, What’s Really Going On?

This last week, star US soccer player Megan Rapinoe entered the mainstream media guns ablazing. Instead of pulling a “Kaepernick”, she just refused to put her hand over her heart during the national anthem.

Since the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) declared it require all of it participants to stand up during the anthem, Rapinoe, Instead of kneeling against the rules, simply stood with her hands at her side.

The USSF stated in a excerpt,

“Our national anthem is an opportunity … to reflect upon the liberties and freedom we all appreciate in this country. As part of the privilege to represent your country, we have an expectation that our players and coaches will stand and honor our flag while the national anthem is played,” a statement from the organization read.

Before the commencement of the women’s World Cup tournament earlier this week, a twitter war began featuring Rapinoe and president Trump. Trump mildly criticized her past statements and actions pertaining to an interview she had with “Eight By Eight” about wether she would attend the White House if she won. Not to mention her habit of refusing to place her hand over her heart during the National Anthem at games.

When Rapinoe was asked why she felt the need “not” place her hand on her heart during the anthem, she responded saying that she didn’t feel the need to respect a “racist”, “sexist”, “small minded” Donald Trump.

According to Fox Business and The Wall Street Journal,

“The women’s team’s games generated $50.8 million in revenue from 2016 to 2018 compared to the male team’s games which made $49.9 million, according to U.S. soccer’s audited financial statements obtained by The Wall Street Journal. The media outlet reported in 2016 — a year after the women’s soccer team took home the World Cup — the team “generated $1.9 million more than the men.”

TYT “The Young Turks” turn their news clip about Rapinoe into a character attack on Ben Shapiro

Obviously the gender pay gap doesn’t exist between men and women when it comes to soccer. As seen in the previous paragraph, the women’s soccer team actually “generated $1.9 million more than men.” So, why does a woman multi -millionaire soccer player, who gets paid extraordinarily well, feel the need to create a non-existent problem? Well. It’s called publicity, and you can make a lot of money participating in it.

Not to make a direct reference, but take for instance the Kavanaugh hearings. Christine Blasey Ford at one point was just a nobody professor who just happened to attend the same school as soon to be nominated Supreme Court justice Bret Kavanaugh. After many investigative hearings and insufficient evidence, Kavanaugh was presumed “not guilty” of sexual assault. After all was said and done, Blasey Ford walked away with $650,000 in (go fund me) money, and a lot of publicity.

During the TYT video above, Ana Kasparian, Felonious Monk, and Brooke Thomas all sit down to discuss what a horrible person Ben Shapiro is. Apparently at some point comedian Felonious Monk felt the need to say “people should get paid based on how good they are at their job”, and then he referenced that the system is obviously unfair to black people because he would be a “gazilionaire” if it was.

Then, Ana Kasparian added that Ben Shapiro is quote “intentionally misleading”, saying that he is not someone who is driven by “emotion or feeling.”

Are we supposed to be driven by “emotion and feeling?” No! If politicians and news anchors made decisions based on how the “feel”, we would have an unstable nation without structure. What Megan Rapinoe said and did was disrespectful, we should not be celebrating her unhappiness by granting her extreme publicity.
